    Third Trimester Is Here

Now that I'm in my third trimester, we are in the final stretch!!!  Last week I had the Glucose screening done, and I passed it without any problem - not even with pizza for lunch that day Wink  My next appointment would be in 3 weeks and then I will have to go back every 2 weeks...  While it feels like that we have endless things to do to prepare for Chen-Chen's arrival, Rob and I figured that we should probably enjoy ourselves as our "alone" time would be scarce.  We've been going to movies the past 2 weekends (btw, "Baby Mama" is really funny, Tina Fey rocks Wink), went hiking 2 weekends ago, and bought bunch of stuff for ourselves over the last 2 weeks (well, last chance to splurge on ourselves)...  Meanwhile, the study still needs lots of work before it would be remotely resembled a nursery.  The siding company is supposed to start their work tomorrow, and hopefully they would REALLY be done with everything in 6-7 workdays...

Here are some pictures that kinda show my growing belly:

    Chen-Chen's First "Public" Appearance

Ever since we saw the GE commercial on 3D/4D imaging technology used in ultrasound and how cool those images look, we decided if we ever get pregnant, we would get this done...  Well, our time has come, and today is the day for Chen-Chen's first "public" appearance.  Chen-Chen is the little guy's nickname, and it comes from his Chinese name Chen-Hui (宸晖) - Rob is still working on picking the western name...  Below are thoughts from Rob:

    Rob:
So I learned a few things today.

    1. 3D ultrasound is still a relatively new technology, so you get some weird looking images.
    2. My son doesn't plan on being a movie star or model (as Leona jokingly dreams sometimes) since he insisted on keeping his arms in front of his face for 90% of the session.
    3. From certain angles (Leona claims) he looks just like me, from other angles, he looks like Yoda (see pic #3)

Nevertheless, it's still pretty awesome that this technology is even available.  Once we found out how much it was and how (relatively) reasonably priced it was, Leona and I decided we had to do it and today was the day.  Enjoy these first kinda clear "baby" pictures
